It’s that time of the week, iPhone fans, when a new iOS 10 beta comes out, and you absolutely need to have it. We’re looking at iOS 10 beta 4 which brings over a bunch of new fixes and improvements, new features, and no less than 100 new emoji. The developer release is already out, and you can get it regardless of whether you have proper access to a developer account. You’ll find everything there is to know about it below.
DON’T MISS: Why you should hurry up and preorder the Galaxy Note 7 as soon as possible
First of all, we’ll tell you from the get-go that if you’re not on iOS 10 beta yet, the best thing you can do is sign up for it at beta.apple.com. Just follow the instructions on Apple’s official beta page, and you should be up and running in no time. iOS 10 public betas come out usually a day after the developer version, and they’re a step behind – but iOS 10 beta 4 is the same as iOS 10 public beta 3 when it comes to features.
Secondly, if you’re already on iOS 10 beta, then all you need to do to get it is head over to the Settings app, hit General, and then Software Update. You should see iOS 10 beta 4 pop in there (or iOS 10 public beta 3). Just perform the upgrade as you would do it with a regular release.
If you’re still on iOS 9.3.3 and your device is compatible with iOS 10, then you’ll have to either borrow a developer account from a friend or Google for one online. Once you have it, you’ll have to install the profile on your device (instructions here), and then upgrade to iOS 10 beta 4 just as you’d do a regular software update (that means following the steps mentioned above).
