During a shareholders meeting this week, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said that the next big Model 3 reveal will take place sometime over the next 3-4 months.

“Today is not the time for that announcement,” Musk said in statement first spotted by Inverse. “But I mean, it’s probably, yeah, I don’t know, the beginning of spring or something like that. Yeah, 3-4 months from now.”

Since first introducing the model earlier this year, Tesla’s electric vehicle for the masses has garnered an incredible amount of interest from the public. As it stands today, it’s believed that reservations for the Model 3 are somewhere close to the 400,000 range.

Now as for what Tesla plans to show off in 3-4 months, well, that’s the million dollar question. Though Tesla has a penchant for keeping its biggest secrets under wraps, previous statements from Musk give us a little bit of insight into what types of enhancements the company plans to unveil this coming Spring.

Most notably, we’ll undoubtedly see what Tesla plans to do with the Model 3 dashboard. As we’ve highlighted previously, the Model 3 as originally shown lacks a traditional instrument cluster, making for a somewhat odd, unusual and sparse design.

Musk was quick to alleviate concerns over the design, saying on Twitter that it will all make sense later on down the road.

It’s largely believed that Tesla’s solution to this involves a HUD where drivers will be able to readily take stock of pertinent information like speed, range, and of course, Autopilot related data.

We can also expect to see some changes to the Model 3 steering wheel. Always prone to hyping things up, Elon Musk, in the wake of the model 3 unveiling, took to Twitter and hinted that the final version of the steering wheel would resemble a spaceship.

It’s also believed that the upcoming Model 3 reveal will also showcase a redesigned trunk.
