With iOS 18 just announced, Apple has also revealed the list of supported devices for this upcoming operating system. Expected to launch later this fall, around the time Cupertino unveils the iPhone 16, iOS 18 supports most of the already-released iPhone models.
With several AI features, thanks to Apple Intelligence, the company has also tweaked the iPhone’s Home Screen and Control Center and added many new features to a range of its built-in apps. Interestingly, all iPhones that supported iOS 17 will get iOS 18.
This is the list of iOS 18 supported devices:
- iPhone XR
- iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max
- iPhone 11
- iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max
- iPhone SE (2nd gen)
- iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12
- iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max
- iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13
- iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max
- iPhone SE (3rd gen)
- iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus
- iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max
- iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus
- iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max
Even with the iPhone XR, XS, and XS Max models supporting this new system, it doesn’t mean they will get all the features, as several functions will be exclusive to the newer models. Not only that, but some AI features are only exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro models.
Alongside iOS 18, Apple has also previewed iPadOS 18, macOS 15, tvOS 18, watchOS 11, and visionOS 2.0. There are several features coming to Apple users in the coming months, and BGR will make sure to bring all the latest details as Cupertino starts testing these new operating system updates.
Besides that, the iPhone 16 is fast approaching, as we expect Apple’s newest phone to be announced by September.
