Apple rolled out iOS 16.1 beta 3 and iPadOS 16.1 beta 4 on Tuesday, September 27.

Apple continues to stagger the beta releases of its iPhone and iPad updates due to the delay of iPadOS 16. In addition to introducing Live Activities, iOS 16.1 and iPadOS 16.1 will also fix a number of bugs that have cropped up since iOS 16 launched. Apple has also been seeding smaller updates, such as iOS 16.0.2, to fix the worst of these bugs.
