Apple made waves with Nintendo news yesterday. Mario is finally coming to the iPhone. But that’s not the only hot Nintendo news that came out of Apples iPhone 7 event. The company also invited Niantic on stage to demo the Pokemon Go app for the Apple Watch that will make playing the highly addictive game a lot more fun. The Apple Watch is now cheaper than ever, and it’s available in a variety of flavors, so it’ll be a great addition to your gadgets collection. But if the budget is still a problem, you’ll be thrilled to hear that the Pokemon Go Plus wearable will be finally available next week.

DON’T MISS: iPhone 7 release date announced: Preorders start Friday, release on September 16

According to The Wall Street Journal, Niantic announced on Thursday that the $35 wearable device whose features are only related to playing Pokemon Go will be released next week. The Pokemon Go Plus wearable was supposed to launch in late July, but Niantic postponed it. The announcement came after the company appeared on stage to demo Pokemon Go for Apple Watch.

The Pokemon Go Plus device will let you play the game without taking the smartphone our of your pocket, and notify you about Pokemon activity in your vicinity through vibrations and sounds. This wearable should help you conserve smartphone battery while playing the game, and will help you pay attention to your surroundings better, as you won’t stare at a screen that much.

As for the Apple Watch, the device costs $269 if you’re happy with a Series 1 model that has a Series 2 processor. Prices start at $369 for Apple Watch Series 2 devices.
