Sprint wants to reduce T-Mobile customers’ rates by 50%. T-Mobile, on the other hand, wants to just give Sprint customers $200. T-Mobile CEO John Legere announced on Twitter that T-Mobile is going to give Sprint customers $200 for every line they switch over to the “Un-carrier.”

“For customers fed up with Sprint’s slow speeds and limited coverage, getting your $200 gift couldn’t possibly be simpler,” T-Mobile explains. “Just switch any Sprint number – including postpaid, prepaid, Boost and Virgin Mobile – over to a T-Mobile Simple Choice postpaid plan starting this Thursday, November 26 and you’ll automatically get a $200 credit on your bill.  That’s $200 multiplied by as many lines as you switch.  For a family of four, that could mean $800 extra, and for a business with 10 employees, we’re talking about a $2,000 credit!”

T-Mobile also says that for a limited time this holiday season, both old and new family customers who have four different lines can get a special rate of $45 per line, which the company says is its lowest rate yet. It’ll be interesting to see whether Sprint offers to reduce this rate by half as part of its Save 50% offer.

T-Mobile announced earlier this week that it’s giving customers who subscribe to its Simple Choice plans unlimited access to LTE data for the next three months. The “Un-carrier” also says that it has special “gifts” planned for both AT&T and Verizon subscribers as well and not just Sprint users.
