It’s incredibly hard to take an established property and convert it from one medium to another. The rate of success for movies and TV shows being adapted into video games seems to be getting a little better every year (see: Shadow of Mordor, the LEGO games), but there are still plenty of franchises that have yet to have their day in the sun. Game of Thrones is one of them, but Telltale Games could finally give the fantasy phenomenon its due later this year.
When Telltale Games was presented with the monumental task of following up The Walking Dead, the writers took it in stride. Rather than breaking too far from the formula, Telltale innovated just enough with The Wolf Among Us to bring us something that feels both familiar and entirely fresh.
