Apple will not hold iPhone 5 event on September 7th; launch could happen October 7th

mobile

An earlier report claiming Apple intends to hold a media event on September 7th to unveil new iPods or even its highly anticipated iPhone 5 are mistaken, Jim Dalrymple of The Loop reported on Friday afternoon. With a very solid track record to his credit, Dalrymple says his sources indicate that Apple will not hold any event or unveil a next-generation iPhone on that date. No information was provided in terms of when Apple’s customary September event might take place, however a separate report from TiPb suggests Apple’s next iPhone — be it the “iPhone 4S” or the iPhone 5 — will hit the market on October 7th. TiPb also reports that Apple’s third-generation iPad 3 will not launch at the same time as the next-gen iPhone, but rather next spring, in line with Apple’s traditional annual iPad release schedule.

I wonder if the delayed launch of the crapPhone 5 will push back AT&T releasing the BlackBerry Bold 9900?

      Blackberry? What’s that?

Oh, I and I was planning on working on my tan standing in line with the fanbois.

While iphones are crappy, the S versions tend to suck less, so a 4S wouldn’t be a bad thing to announce.

Hmmm, with all these rumours I guess we can have a new article with a new release date posted every morning. Keep things fresh

Protip: try verifying your stupid speculation before going to press with it. Journalism is dead.

Lol these sites keep pushing there speculation date even further, next week you’ll see iphone 5/4s in december ;-P

Btw an iPad 3/HD in 2011 just sounds plain retarted…. highly doubt it happens. Apple just started getting iPad 2 stock to a steady level.

Seems like we get two articles a day on the date of the next iPhone release. Who cares, when it happens, it happens.Enough speculation. What is true is it’s late, it should have happened already and didn’t. It won’t happen until Steve says it will.

It makes sense for the ipad3 to get released next year, but the iphone5 in October? That’s stretching it. We want to update to the next iphone soon. And if Apple keeps its users waiting and waiting, we might just consider the Galaxy S2.

By the time this phone comes out it will be already old!!! Then Steve Jobs will have to figure out another minor upgrade for the next iphone. The sad thing is the isheep will go out and sell all they have for this phone that will be outdated!! They will be stuck with a 2 yr agreement at the mercy of apple and it’s minor revisions!!!!!!!!

Doesn’t matter when it comes to me fall or dead of winter the Apple store near me is indoors.

I seem to get more joy out of these comments than from the posts themselves

As a casual observer of tech blogs it’s amazing how bitter Android or Google supporters are with the success of Apple.

I just paìd $22.85 for an ìPad 2-64GB and my girlfriend loves her Panasonic Lumix GF 1 Camera that we got for $38.78 there arriving tomorrow by UPS. I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 40 inch LED TV to my boss for $625 which only cost me $62.81 to buy. Here is the website we use to get it all from, CentHub.còm
