Remember the Mac vs PC wars? Yeah, you might be forgiven if they’ve completely escaped your memory at this point. After all, with the tech world taking on a decidedly mobile tilt in recent years, the days of Apple and Microsoft going almost seems like ancient history.

Apparently, though, there’s still a bit of life left to the age-old debate, evidenced most recently by four new Microsoft ads which highlight how Windows 10 PCs can do a whole a lot more than Macs.

In the first ad, titled “Meet The Bug Chicks”, we meet two women, Kristie and Jess, who are dedicated to changing the way kids think about bugs. They claim that bugs and insects are awesome, but I’ll personally have to just take their word for it.

“Windows 10 really helps us get the word out about how awesome bugs are,” Kristie says as the video kicks off. Later, we see the duo using Cortana to launch a video and using a touchscreen on a Windows 10 laptop to draw a quick illustration of a proboscis.

“I don’t have a touchscreen on my Mac, I’m jealous of that,” Kristie laments.

In the second video ad, also featuring The Bug Chicks, we also see the power of Cortana on the desktop. “Even on the new Macs, they don’t have that,” one of them say as the commercial concludes. This is of course a fair point, but it’s worth noting that is likely to change once Siri hits the Mac later this year with the newest version of OS X.

The third video ad is curiously almost the exact same as the first and features The Bug Chicks talking about how helpful it is to be able to draw on a touchscreen laptop with Windows 10.

“I like that, I don’t have a touchscreen on my Mac,” Kristie says again.

And in the final commercial, we see Jess unlocking her Windows 10 laptop via facial recognition.

“Boom! Logged in,” Jess exclaims.

“Even on the new Macs they don’t have that,” Kristie responds.
