When we left off at the end of The Force Awakens, Rey had just finished a rather tiring-looking trek to the top of an island to say hi to Luke, who was doing the standard mysterious Jedi thing of staring intensely at the horizon.

Well, we finally know how that scene pans out, and it’s no earth-shattering reveal of Jedi wisdom.

Footage from that scene was recently shown to Disney shareholders, some of whom were kind enough to share with the group:

“Who are you” isn’t the most iconic opening line I’ve ever heard, but it sets the stage well for what promises to be a rollercoaster next instalment in the Star Wars universe. We still know precious little about the upcoming movie, other than that “The Last Jedi” is plural, rather than singular. That, plus the information that Finn is featuring in the film, should open up a whole new world of speculation about whether Rey is the only one who’s going to be trained to become a Jedi.

Hopefully, the footage that Disney showed to shareholders will find its way into a teaser trailer sooner rather than later, and we can all gawk at a man in a fancy bath robe standing on top of a mountain. Until then, there’s only your imagination and 100,000 internet rumors to pass the time.
