The iPhone 7’s design seems to be pretty much locked, considering that most leaks tell us the same thing. The 2016 iPhones will be almost identical to their predecessors from afar, although there will be plenty of tiny changes to set them apart. A new leak seems to further reinforce that idea, showing us the rose gold version of the upcoming device for the first time.

DON’T MISS: The iPhone 7 might actually be in trouble

Dug up on Weibo and posted on Twitter by Steve Hemmerstoffer of the French blog NowhereElse, the picture below shows what seems to be the rear shell from the 4.7-inch iPhone 7. A single-lens opening on the back is what tells us this might be the smaller iPhone 7 model, since the Plus version reportedly includes a dual camera setup.

The antennas on the back represent one of the new features of the iPhone 7 design. The new smartphone is said to have single top and bottom antenna lines running along the edges of the phone. The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6 both have double antenna lines on the top and bottom, which have received some criticism in the past.

The picture also seems to suggest there’s no 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom. The standard audio port should be slightly visible when looking at the back of the phone near the bottom right corner, but that’s not the case here.

That said, there’s no way to confirm with 100% certainty that this is indeed a genuine iPhone 7 metal shell, though it certainly matches an earlier leak that gave us our first look at a real iPhone 7. Apple is expected to launch this year’s iPhone during a media event in mid-September.
