Final ‘Free Phone Friday’ features fantastic phones

Last week, Best Buy Mobile offered up a great Free Phone Friday that included the Samsung Fascinate and the BlackBerry Bold 9700. This week, which just so happens to be the last week of Best Buy Mobile’s great little October promotion, the big box retailer is back with another solid selection:

  • HTC Incredible (Verizon Wireless)
  • Samsung Flight 2 (AT&T)
  • Samsung Vibrant (T-Mobile)
  • BlackBerry Curve 3G (Sprint)

As has been the case since the beginning of the month, each of the great phones listed above is available for free with a new 2-year agreement. And, of course, the deal is only good for one today — Friday, October 29th.

      With my upgrade in late November, I hope this is true.

      I want 4″ screen-ish, front camera, multi-core processor or at least 1.5ghz-ish, and Gingerbread pre-installed.

    It’s so amazing. I love Verizon giving all these free phones so we can stay ahead of crApple and their crAphone! I love it. They should give one away to everyone in the country. Heck, around the world for that matter!!!!! Long live Android! Die Apple Die!

        I think they will be destroyed before the end of the year. I believe Apple will be declaring bankruptcy by 12/31 and all their employees will be fired and NEVER ALLOWED to work anywhere again, aside from McDonald’s in the fryer. They are THAT BAD! Us Goofans know this.

        If they don’t release an answer to the Galaxy Tab by Christmas they will file chapter 11. It’s that simple. How can the ipad even compete without a rear camera with flash? I need to take pictures all the time while I’m sitting at the library or Starbucks and only DROID DOES that.

        I can’t understand why crApple feels it’s weird to shoot a photo with the iPad. I think it’s perfectly natural to shoot a photo of a bunch of fellow goofans with a big-ass tablet. I do it all the time and the photos look android big. I think the resolution on the galaxy tab, in reality, will be more like 20 MP with full HD video and audio recording. I read somewhere that you will be able to shoot hollywood quality movies with it, including surround sound audio.

      Answer me this:

      1. Can iPhone multi-task upwards of 200 applications at the same time without a single effect on battery life?
      2. Can iPhone last upwards of 2 weeks on a SINGLE battery charge WITH all the apps and flash running at the same time???
      3. Can iPhone be held tightly with both hands and 10 stories underground and still have ALL bars, get that, ALL bars of signal strength?
      4. Can iPhone play 150% of the web with beautiful and secure Flash???

      NO… NO… NO… It can’t! As my friend Norm says “DROID DOES, iPhone doesn’t!!!!”

        I couldn’t have said it better myself. DROID DOES. It simply does. Right now I’m actually on day 34 on a single charge with my DROID 2. I’ve also been streaming Pandora and Youtube video constantly for at least 2 weeks straight. Only a 10% drain. BTW I’ve drive through for states on I-90 through the northern plains N. Dakato, S. Dakota, etc and haven’t once dropped my 3G signal. SUCK IT JOBS AND AT&T!

        DROID forgot to spell and grammar check, but trust me it DOES. I some times just get too excited to spell or grammar check that I won’t even let DROID DOES it for me so I just type away because DROID DOES phyiscal QWERTYs and the best touch screens ever. THey invented them. JOBS just stole the idea from us… THE DROID ARMY. DROID DOOOOOOOES!!!!!!

        That’s right Norm – the rest of the year they are giving away iPhone 4′s…….Best Buy is just so overstocked since no one wants crApples defective phone. Plus they need toclear the shelves for the upcoming R2D2 Droid – they’ll be selling tose baby’s at $200 over list…they’re already taking pre orders….which are now at a 10 year wait for this awesome phone!!!!

    How can this article mention “fantastic phones” and not include the number 1 smartphone in mobile phone history, the IPhone 4? This is the mark of a true amateur, and is blasphemous in every sense. Luckily, Apple doesn’t need reviews, articles, or white versions of their latest phones to stay on top. They continue to stomp the bowels out of their competition day by day.
