Where is RIM’s MySpace application?

General

Not bashing them… just wondering, really. Didn’t they announce the MySpace application release would coincide with the release of the T-Mobile BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220? Anyone care?

MySpace is pretty much in line with using craig’s list to find “dates,” except theres triple the guy to girl ratio…

Hopefully nowhere to be found in RIM. MySpace royally sucks.

Dang…What city do you live in? Craigslist here has a 5000 to 2 guy/girl ratio…and 1 of those is always spam.

Yeah I don’t really care for MySpace, except for the handful of friends that stick with it. I wholly agree that Facebook is infinitely better, but it does help that the app is there to make things much simpler and more efficient.

True, you can go to the website on the browser, but that times time signing on and waiting for pages to load, etc.

I hope they come out with it soon so I can completely avoid signing on to the horrible website.

McCainSpace? Shut up hippy liberal d-bag.

Myspace is a terrible service. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that the majority of BB users are either college kids or professionals. Could you really see an investment banker on myspace? College kids use facebook prolifically so I could imagine it would be worthwhile to offer it on blackberry, just that same as its offered as an app on iPhone. I know a lot of professionals that use it to, not only to communicate with friends and family, but to check on their employees during their off time and make sure they are following the company’s code of ethics. Some employers also use it to investigate new hire prospects, which is why my account is completely blocked from anyone except friends.

    FaceBook is for Adults.

    MySpace is for Teens.

Perhaps it’s because “MySpace” and “first class business e-mail” don’t seem like much of a match.

  • Valiantineus

Oh, and I suppose “poking” people in 500 different ways for no reason is the “adult” way to communicate?

Myspace actually has a REALLY good mobile website for the bb browser to make good use of. so then you can either bookmark it, or use a bookmark app to put a bookmark on your homescreen.

Maybe it’s not released yet, but http://www.blackberry.com/myspace does exist…

if you need facebook or myspace to “network” then you are a loser, no matter what generation you are.
