If you’re a Verizon Wireless subscriber, there is a new promotion available until the middle of next month that you’ll definitely want to take advantage of. There’s a whole bunch of great new content hitting Netflix over the next 30 days, and it began this morning when season 2 of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt was made available in its entirety. Binge watching eats up a whole lot of data though, so you’ll want to do everything you can to stretch your data plan as far as it will go.
As it turns out, there’s a simple way to earn an extra 2GB of data that will only take you a few seconds all together.

As noted by Android Central in a blog post on Thursday evening, Verizon has begun to notify subscribers of a nifty new promotion that you’ll definitely want to take advantage of.
“Starting today, you can enjoy 2 GB of free Verizon data, good for two billing cycles, when using Android Pay,” Verizon’s promo reads. “Simply open the app to get started. Tap anywhere in stores Android Pay is accepted and receive 1 GB of free data. On your third tap, we’ll throw in another free gig.”
So all you have to do is use Android Pay one time between now and the end of the day on June 13th, and you’ll get 1GB of free data. If you use Android Pay three times between now and June 13th, you’ll get 2GB of free data. You’ll be buying plenty of things over the next month, so there’s really no reason to skip this promo.
For those unaware, Android Pay is Google’s contactless payment system similar to Apple Pay on the iPhone. You input your credit card or debit card info into the app, and then you can pay for purchases using your smartphone anywhere Android Pay is accepted.
As you can see in the screenshots below, all you need to do is open Android Pay on your Verizon Wireless phone and you’ll get instructions detailing the procedure. The offer is open to all postpaid subscribers on a Verizon Plan or a More Everything Plan.
