We’re nearly midway through November, which means it’s time for yet another free PC game from Ubisoft. The video game company is giving away one free game every month through the end of the year, and for rest of the month of November, Ubisoft will be giving away Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon as a free download.

“This month we offer you Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, THE Kick-Ass Cyber Shooter,” says Ubisoft. “Welcome to an 80’s vision of the future. The year is 2007 and you are Sergeant Rex Colt, a Mark IV Cyber Commando. Your mission: get the girl, kill the baddies, and save the world. Experience every cliché of a VHS era vision of a nuclear future, where cyborgs, blood dragons and mutants collide.”

Originally released back in 2013, Blood Dragon was a spinoff of Far Cry 3 that came totally out of left field. It used the same engine and played similarly, but the setting, the tone and the story were completely different.

Despite ruffling some feathers with its over-the-top violence, Blood Dragon was extremely well-received, even getting better reviews than the game it spun off of in some cases. Even if you weren’t the biggest fan of the latest open world Far Cry games, you should still give Blood Dragon a try, especially while it’s free.

Two quick caveats: 1) you need a Uplay account in order to download the game, and 2) a month from now, the game will no longer be free to download. So if you want to get it for free, sign up for an account and download today.
