Based on early reviews, Captain America: Civil War might be Marvel Studios’ most impressive achievement to date. Despite all of the expectations and the growing sense of superhero fatigue, Marvel has somehow managed to release a movie with a higher rating than any of its previous MCU films.
Therefore, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that the studio is planning another massive movie marathon to celebrate the release of Civil War.

On Monday, Marvel announced “The Ultimate Captain America Marathon,” which will feature every movie from the MCU that features Captain America. The marathon will kick off with Captain America: The First Avenger, then move on to The Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Avengers: Age of Ultron and finally a screening of Captain America: Civil War.
The marathon will take place on Thursday, May 5th at either 7:00 a.m. or 8:00 a.m., depending on the theaters. The prices also seem to vary depending on the theater as well, with many NYC theaters selling tickets for $35 and others charging $47.99.
You can find the nearest participating theater on Fandango.
Anyone who attends the marathon screening will be rewarded with a free comic bundle from Marvel and an exclusive medallion to commemorate the occasion.
On the other hand, if sitting in a theater for eleven and a half hours doesn’t sound like a great way to spend your Thursday, you can just go see Civil War when it hits theaters on May 6th instead.
