Apple suppliers expect minimal impact from Jobs's departure

Business

Foxconn and Quanta Computer, two companies that manufacture Apple products such as the iPhone and iPad, have suggested that there will be “minimal” impact on supply orders following news that Steve Jobs will no longer serve as Apple’s CEO. Reportedly, Tim Cook, who has replaced Jobs as CEO, was already working closely with the manufacturing process while Steve Jobs was out on leave. DigiTimes said that the move could affect Apple’s global brand recognition and the company’s innovation and creativity, although it will certainly take some time to see just how true those claims are. On Thursday, a number of analysts speculated that Jobs’s departure could benefit Apple’s iPhone and iPad competitors.

,ì just got an iPad 2-32GB for $ 22.54 and my girlfriend loves her Panasonìc Lumìx GF 1 Camera that we got for $ 38.76 there arriving tomorrow by UPS. I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 40 inch LED TV to my boss for $ 657 which only cost me $ 62.81 tobuy.
Here is the website we use to get it all from,

I guess GoofanAKAAppleHater still lives in the 70′s before the days you could work from any where with an internet connection. Especially updating a Tech Blog. Because we all know that the only way to update the blog is to sit directly in front of the server in the server room.

You must be an Apple fanboy. You’re not very smart. I’m sorry to tell you this. But it’s ok. Its not your fault.

The next iPhone will sell like hotcakes with the perception of it being the last one in development while Jobs was at the helm…

iPhone 5 will be rainbow colored. Tim Cook is in charge remember? It will change everything again.

      • Anonymous

Yes, he’s in charge now and will be the one running things for the launch.  Jobs was in charge during iPhone-5 development though, remember…? ;)

    iPhone ROCKS!!……nuff said!

My old iPhone is more of a brick than a rock.  But it’s just semantics, right?

It’s a big challenge for Tim Cook. Job puts the Apple at paramount at pass it Cook. Now Cook face the challenge to let the company stay on top even in the way of Job and in his own way. I hope Cook will solve this challenge immediately.

      that made very little sense….

      grammar fail

  • http://www.droiddoes.com/ Norm

Foxcon should switch exclusively to DROID as crApple is fading fast. The future looks bright for widgets and live wallpapers. It’s all about choice and freedom, something Steve Jobs forbid apple customers. DROID however is the perfect OS. Now I’m all hot and bothered thinking about DROID so I think I need to go out and get another one….

    • Anonymous

Well that’s the advantage of Android. There’s always another one. There are hundreds of choices and new ones come every 15 minutes. I’ve people, of lesser intelligence asking me which Android they should buy because there are so many choices, and I tell them iOS is for them. They’re obviously not smart enough for Android…

      • http://www.droiddoes.com/ Norm

I laugh at iPhone users who can use their phone right out of the box without modding. A real phone needs to be rooted and tested with multiple roms first. This is laughable.

The magic factory where they make the iphone doesn’t look very magical. I was thinking a more Willy Wonka style establishment

These workers look like they’re having the time of their lives.

I wonder if they could afford to purchase the products they’re assembling…

    • Anonymous

First off its work you arent supposed to be having the time of your life. Second, do you think the workers that put together Android phones can afford them?

      • http://twitter.com/computer_tweets KW

Yea since phone companies give away Android phones for nothing.

        Ha!  Good Juan!

“First off its work you arent supposed to be having the time of your life.”
I enjoy my work.  Also, having the time of your life is a figure of speech, Einstein.

You seem to be very protective of Apple.  Are you a stockholder?  Does that multi-billion dollar corporation pay your bills?

I’d sure like to hope so after your inane comments.  Otherwise, your priorities are all screwed up.
