    @tazlove,

    I just noticed that Late last night after I toon my phone off vibrate.

    First I thought my speaker was going out. Now that I’m not the only one I don’t care. I don’t really like the clicks

    After installing the new iTunes, the songs on my iPod Touch sound all effed up… like the artists are all singing in a giant orchestra hall, and the instrumental track volumes are all too low or too high…. weird. Hope they fix it. :(

    Well the track skip on the stereo Bluetooth wasn’t fixed. Anyone else’s working?

    Downloaded and installed both Itunes 9 and the 3.1 for Iphone3gs, so far no problems. I do like the Home Sharing option is nice, although this is one that should have been possible a long time ago. Its typical of apple to do this, they only add things a little at a time and launch a hell of a marketing campaign to get folks to think its such a big deal. I like Apple products, but I’ll jump ship if there’s a new innovative product with another brand. Liking the Maemo5 from Nokia too.

    Think that high pitched ringing is gone.

    @jo,

    It won’t until we get the carrier update on the 25th. Mms has been in the software since 3.0

    same problem with the sound from the ipod app. its like they just adjusted its equalizer to -10db for specific frequencies and now it sounds like ass.

    Check the new App Store on iPhone there is a Genius Tab.
    Now Apple will tell you what apps to buy.

    Itouch 2nd gen with 2.2.1 and wireless worked fine. Just (Sep. 12, 2009) upgraded to 3.1.1 and no more wireless no matter how/what I tried of all known tips and tricks. Speaker volume is down by half, signal strength is very down even next to the router.

    DO NOT UPGRADE to 3.1.1 even for $4.95 until Apple issues a fix.

    Like someone said, iTouch is good for a paper weight without wireless.

  • adam

    I do have this, but i don’t find it to be a problem, they where way to loud before. maybe if you could have a separate volume for clicks.

  • u

    your ipod or iphohe is broke it happened to me and had to have a new one

  • Adam

    Wait who are you responding to?

  • Melissa

    Down loaded 3.1 everything worked fine, upgraded to itunes 9.0 and no sound for anything, music won’t play at all, shows pause for a second then shows the play arrow again. Restored to backup nothing, removed all apps nothing, restored to new nothing. It seems quite useless at the moment.

  • Adam

    Put the device in dfu mode and restore. Hold power and home for 10 seconds while plugged into the computer and then let go of power and keep holding home button. For 15 and wait until it indicates in iTunes that it is recovery mode.

    i was searching the web to see if anyone had the same problems as me, since i upgraded to 3.1.1. wifi is lost, unless i’m sitting on top of the bay station and now i can no longer send email. i wish i had read your post before upgrading. i have read lots on line and see that there are numerous problems but apple will not take any responsibility.
    so my question is this: if i restore to original factory settings, will the 3.1.1 go away forever? i know i’ll loose all the apps i purchased and will have to sync music again, but i want this off my ipod! thanks for any comments.

  • Adam

    Well if you do a restore to 3.0 in recovery mode it will have no 3.1.1 evidence on your iPod and every thing should work.

  • Adam

    To put your device in recovery mode hold the power button and the home button for 20 -30 seconds. If that doesn’t work look put putting your device in DFU mode.

  • Melissa

    Low and behold there is another update from apple 3.1.2 this fixed my sound problems.

    My family and I watched Michael and The Jackson 5 since their first performance on black & white television, in fact as a kid growing up every family video/movie that I own has the Jackson 5 background music playing to our silent movies.

  • John

    OK, anybody still here? I had the exact problem that Melissa had above…but with 9.0 then 3.1.2….No sound, music won’t play, tried restore, no sounds at all. How do i fix this….I sold my BB Storm thinking I’d put an end to problems….not speaking well for Apple so far! Help me Mac Lovers.
