New iPhone to sport a case redesign?

Ugly. I like the metal back. Makes the phone feel sturdy. Glossy black will scratch too easily.

Im surprised no one said this but wouldnt you guess if there switching to plastic then maybe there thinking about a removeable battery. Besides 3g, wasn’t no extra battery a big complaint.

Ugly. That thing will get scratched up as you take it out of the package! I like the idea of it being black but for the love of Bill Gates not glossy! Will it come with a wipe?

i would like this to be the real deal but its not likely. the light up logo would be cool but probably wont happen. Also apple likes the products to have the same common them ie. pro’s are silver, iPods have a shiny smooth back, macbook and imac in white. So since the ipod touch uses the same case as the iphone its safe to say that that probably isn’t the real thing. but people make a good point that its way to hard to do all of that photoshopping i really dont think it could be done.

by the way i hope that they will add an mms to the iphone because i hate getting pic form friends and having to remember the username and password jest to see them.

with ebay and rogers and a $65 1Gb plan there is no reason not to have one!
just pick the right vendor, mine took 5 weeks to arrive.

I don’t think it’s plastic at all… looks like powder-coated metal. And it’s definitely tapered like the Air.

I agree, And can anyone out there figure out the size of this thing based on the dimensions in relation to the MacBook Pro it is resting on? From my estimations, it seems much smaller than the current model.

I think it´s real, and I wonder why no one notices the different curve on this one compared to the old iPhone.

I think that apple is going to put some of the shapes fraom the MacBookAir in to all their new portable products. So I predict we will se some nice new books and phones this summer.

Too bad everyone here who posted “it’s a fake” couldn’t have waited a few months…Of course it’s real…and too bad it really is a cheaper grade backing (plastic vs. metal), although on the positive now it won’t scratch as much!
