Who knew Finland was a hotbed of Islamic culture? You learn something new every day, friends. Nokia has dropped a special edition of their powerful N73 handset to commemorate the Islamic holy month known as Ramadan. Yes, you read correctly. In addition to the usual rundown of N-series apps and features, the N73 Ramadan sports an Islamic Organizer with audible alarms for the 5 daily prayers, a Qibla direction indicator (directing the 5-times daily prayers towards Mecca), a Hajj and Umrah application outlining the specifics of the Muslim pilgrimage, and a Ramadanist app that gives a complete rundown of Ramadan, its customs, traditions, and edicts. Not to argue with the importance of these applications, but do they really warrant the release of a special edition handset?
