In case you haven’t noticed, T-Mobile will go to great lengths to troll its rivals, particularly AT&T. That said, we never expected that T-Mobile CEO John Legere would ever go this far just to take a shot at a rival carrier.

Per ESPN, Legere this week paid $21,800 for the rights to pick out a temporary tattoo that will be placed on track star Nick Symmonds’s right shoulder. This being Legere, he immediately started musing about whether to give the tattoo an anti-AT&T message.

FROM EARLIER: Simple ways to wake up every morning without even a sip of coffee

“[Legere] took to Twitter to ask his more than 2.4 million followers what he should put on the two-time Olympian as a temporary tattoo,” ESPN writes. “The leading choice in the Twitter poll is an emoji of Legere with a profane reference to T-Mobile competitor AT&T. He has not said what tattoo he will use.”

According to the contract signed with Legere, Symmonds must wear the tattoo for at least six races, including races in the Olympic Games should he qualify. This is particularly amusing because AT&T has been the official telecommunications partner of the U.S. Olympic Committee for more than three decades.

Legere could decide to go the positive route and make a pro-T-Mobile tattoo that doesn’t resort to childish name-calling but… ah, who are we kidding?
