Pictured above, The Masonic is an iconic event space in San Francisco that has been home to countless bands and entertainers over the years. But on Thursday, a different kind of show will occupy the well-known space. Lenovo chairman and CEO Yang Yuanqing will take the stage and oversee the unveiling of at least two futuristic new smartphones. One will fall under the Lenovo brand and will among the first Project Tango phones released to the public. The second will mark the next stage in Motorola’s evolution as the fan-favorite Moto X line gives way to all-new Moto Z smartphones.

It promises to be a very exciting show, and you can watch all the action from Lenovo Tech World 2016 live right here.

Lenovo almost certainly isn’t one of the first names that comes to mind these days when one thinks of the smartphone industry. In fact, neither is Motorola despite the key role the company has played in the industry since the dawn of the cell phone. On Thursday, however, all eyes are on this pair as they take the stage in California to unveil their latest and greatest Android devices.

From Lenovo, we’re expecting to finally meet the company’s first Project Tango phone. For those unaware, Tango is a Google-powered project that uses advanced 3D mapping technology to create next-level augmented reality experiences. Think Microsoft HoloLens, but powered by a smartphone or tablet instead of a helmet that’s tethered to a computer.

Lenovo teased a prototype of its Project Tango phone back in January, but today we’ll finally meet the real deal.

While Motorola is now owned by Lenovo, the company still seems to operate fairly independently and its next-generation flagship smartphone line will finally take shape during Thursday’s event. The the Moto Z Play and Moto Z Style are expected to be variations on the same design. Rumors have outed some features and specs over the past few weeks, and the star of the show will apparently be a futuristic new modular element. The phones won’t be like the LG G5, but they’ll have a special port and connector on the back where various accessories can be attached.

Will these new phones be as exciting as they seem? Will there be any surprises in store? Lenovo Tech World 2016 is scheduled to begin at 1:00PM EDT / 10:00AM PDT, and you’ll find live streaming video from the event embedded below.
