The star of Apple’s big event on Monday was clearly the brand new iPhone that was unveiled, but you don’t need an iPhone SE to get the latest and greatest iOS features Apple has been working on. After a long beta period, Apple has finally released iOS 9.3 to the general public. This isn’t a huge update like iOS 10 will be when it debuts for developers and public beta testers this summer ahead of its public launch in September, but there are some terrific new features and big improvements in iOS 9.3, and we’ll tell you how to update your device right now.

DON’T MISS: More evidence that the iPhone 7 is going to make a lot of people angry this year

Apple’s new iOS 9.3 software includes a number of cool new features, and you can read about the five best ones right here. The single most talked about new feature is definitely Night Shift though, and it’s finally available to anyone and everyone with a modern iOS device.

Night Shift is a great new feature that can be enabled manually or can work on a schedule at night, just like Do Not Disturb. It’s designed to remove much of the blue light from your iPhone or iPad’s display so that it’s softer on your eyes when you’re viewing your device in the dark.

You know that messing with your iPhone before bed causes sleep problems, but you do it anyway. Now, at least it’ll cause fewer problems.

There are plenty of other improvements and new features baked into iOS 9.3 as well. For example, check out all of the great new 3D Touch shortcuts available to iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus users in iOS 9.3. It’s definitely a solid update from Apple and there are two ways you can get it right now — either connect your device to your computer and use the update mechanism in iTunes, or open the Settings app on your device and go to General > Software Update and follow the instructions there.
