Electric cars and autonomous vehicles are the future but as of today, there’s no telling which companies will come out on top. There’s little question that Tesla has emerged as an early leader, but it’s still a very small company compared to the major automakers in the market like Toyota, Daimler and Ford. Every big car company will jump into the fray with new electric vehicles and self-driving cars in the coming years, and more competition will seemingly come from tech companies like Apple and Google.
But Faraday Future is another name in electric vehicles that has been making waves recently, and we haven’t yet even had a glimpse at what the company plans to launch. Tonight that changes, however, as Faraday prepares to give the world its first real peek at a concept of its upcoming vehicle.

Faraday Future has a big press conference scheduled in Las Vegas at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show. The company is being quite tight-lipped about what it plans to show off during the press conference, and a note on its website says Faraday will “unveil a concept inspired by our design and engineering vision.”
What does that mean, exactly? Will the concept the company shows off on Monday night resemble a future production model once Faraday finally launches its autonomous electric car? A leak that resulted from the premature release of the company’s updated app revealed some images of the company’s 1,000HP concept car, but most of the details will remain a mystery until shortly after 11:00 p.m. EST / 8:00 p.m. PST tonight, which is when Faraday Future’s big press conference is set to begin.
