Apple’s Watch is the most popular wearable device in the world, according to various research papers, and Apple is not done improving the device. A new report from a source that offered accurate details about unreleased Apple devices in the past claims the Apple Watch 2 will be launched in the fall, alongside the iPhone 7 and a revamped Apple Watch 1.

KGI’s Ming-Chi Kuo wrote in a research note to investors seen by MacRumors that Apple will launch an Apple Watch 2 in the second half of the year, likely around the time the new iPhone 7 comes out. Furthermore, Apple will also upgrade the existing Apple Watch model with better hardware meant to offer a better overall performance.

The Apple Watch 2 will pack a faster TSMC processor, GPS, barometer, superior waterproofing and a higher capacity battery. The device will resemble the first-generation model regarding design, and will not be thinner than the Apple Watch 1 even if it’s tipped to adopt a lighter display module.

Upgraded Apple Watch 1 models will be similar to the Apple Watch 2 concerning hardware up to a point. They’re getting better a processor upgrade as well, and better waterproofing features. But they will lack GPS support or a barometer.

Kuo did not confirm whether the Apple Watch 2 will have a FaceTime camera or better Wi-Fi features, and says that LTE support isn’t coming until next year.

When it comes to pricing, the analyst said the Apple Watch would be even cheaper this fall, though it’s not clear whether Apple will offer price cuts across the board, or just drop the price of the updated Apple Watch 1, to make it even more affordable.

The new Watches are expected to drop this fall when the iPhone 7 launches. The new smartphone is rumored to go on sale on September 16th, with preorders likely scheduled for September 9th.
