When Donald Trump first got in the presidential race, I was positively giddy with excitement about the potential comedy he’d bring. Since then, however, I’ve grown progressively more annoyed with (and at times alarmed by) Trump’s shtick. It’s really time for someone to beat him handily in the primary elections, whether it’s Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz or Chris Christie. I don’t care at this point: Trump isn’t fun anymore and he just needs to go back to his old job of being the world’s most effective Twitter troll as soon as possible.

Because of this, I was excited to see that some benevolent soul has developed an extension for Google Chrome that lets you block any and all Trump-related news from showing up in your browser. As Politico explains, the Trump Filter “searches websites that users visit and strips out any mentions of the Republican presidential candidate, claiming to scrub Trump ‘from all your web browsing without leaving the Internet.'”
The extension was developed by a man named Rob Spectre, who says that he created it “out of a profound sense of annoyance and patriotic duty” to help people avoid being subjected to the doughy billionaire every time they check out the news. His one regret with creating the extension is that he can’t make it work on televisions.
