We’re reporting live from Sony’s Mobile World Congress 2012 press conference where the company has just taken the wraps off its new Xperia P and Xperia U smartphones. The Sony Xperia U features a 3.5-inch Reality Display, 1GHz dual-core processor, and five megapixel camera capable of 2D and 3D image capture. Sony’s Xperia P rocks a 4-inch “White Magic” display that Sony says offers up twice the brightness of a regular screen while still being perfectly viewable outdoors in direct sunlight. Other features include a 1GHz dual-core processor, 8 megapixel camera with HD video recording, NFC, HDMI-out, and aluminum case. Sony promises an Android 4.0 upgrade sometime after launch
