The second half of Walking Dead’s season 7 is fast approaching, and I don’t know whether to be excited or not. Aside from a few good episodes, including the extremely violent premiere, season 7 failed to impress. Hopefully, the second half of the season will be much better — for some reason, I still hope AMC will turn things around. But until then, let’s check out a brand new video teaser for the show.
We saw the synopsis for the second half of the season a few days ago, and we know that “the second half of the season will focus on preparing for war and gathering the supplies and numbers to take Negan down once and for all.”
In other words, it’s time to fight — of course, we knew season 7 will be all about Rick’s war with Negan.
The new 15-second clip AMC shared on Twitter a few hours ago focuses exactly on that part, the fighting. In fact, it pretty much sounds like something Rick might say either to Ezekiel or Gregory — or both — to convince them to join forces to defeat Negan. As it stands now, Alexandria is too weak to face off against the Saviors. Rick needs all the help it can get, and The Kingdom and The Hilltop can definitely help.

Fighting for freedom starts on February 12th on AMC, so there’s plenty of time to mentally prepare for it.
