We’re less than two weeks away from the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and excitement over the highly anticipated sequel has reached a fever pitch.

In order to make the wait for December 18th even more difficult, J.J. Abrams and cast of The Force Awakens took the stage this weekend to answer questions at a press junket hosted by Mindy Kaling over the weekend.

The event was kept under wraps, but now that it’s over, attendees have begun to share some of the information that the cast and crew dispersed during the course of the event. Slashfilm’s Peter Sciretta was one of the many press members in attendance, and on Monday published a list of revelations from the event.

There were no major leaks or spoilers (of course), but several interesting tidbits made their way out, including the fact that Kylo Ren is going to be a fresh take on a Star Wars villain. In fact, screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan went so far as to say that “there has never been a character like Kylo Ren in the saga.”

Abrams and co. wouldn’t speak to much of anything that would actually appear in the film, but they did confirm a few things that would not appear in The Force Awakens, including Ewoks, Jar Jar Binks and a post-credits scene.

Finally, producer Kathleen Kennedy was able to talk about the rest of the planned trilogy, insofar as it has not been completely planned out yet. She says that the directors and writers “haven’t mapped out every single detail yet, but obviously everybody is talking to one another, working together, and that collaboration is going to guarantee that everybody has a say in how we move forward with this.”
