Apple just released two brand new trailers for its upcoming original TV shows, and one of them looks like it’s going to be fantastic. The other one, well, “fantastic” isn’t exactly the word we would use to describe it…

Will.i.am has found tremendous success in the music industry. In tech, not so much. In fact, the successful producer has been involved with a few different products now that have been downright awful, but Apple is hoping his musical Midas touch translates to TV despite his earlier missteps — which brings us to the first new trailer Apple released late Monday night.

Apple’s Eddie Cue spoke at the annual Code Media conference on Monday night, and he shared the first trailer from the upcoming Apple Music original show, Planet of the Apps.

So far, it looks as cringe-worthy as the name suggests.

The reality show appears to be an uncomfortable new spin on shows like Shark Tank and The Voice. Entrepreneurs stand before four judges — Will.i.am, Gary Vaynerchuk, Gwyneth Paltrow and Jessica Alba, whom Apple calls “four of the world’s most culturally influential entrepreneurs” — and they have to pitch their ideas for apps.

😔

Here’s the trailer:

As bad as Planet of the Apps looks, Apple Music’s other original show looks like the exact opposite. Instead of starting from scratch with some awful idea that Will.i.am managed to sell Apple execs on, Apple bought James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke and is turning it into a standalone series. We showed you the first new trailer just yesterday, but Apple has already released another one. Enjoy:
