There’s still a great deal we don’t know about Rogue One, but what we do know is that the film will revolve around a group of resistance fighters embarking on a mission to steal the Empire’s plans for the Death Star. Felicity Jones will star as Jyn Erso, with Darth Vader and a young Han Solo expected to appear as well.
A seemingly unrelated piece of news dropped earlier this month when it was revealed that Edwards would not direct the sequel to 2014’s Godzilla in order to “focus on smaller films,” but another source tells Page Six that Rogue One falling short of Disney’s lofty expectations might have played a part in his decision.
