We have spent a fair amount of time over the years hunting down high-quality wallpapers and sharing them with our readers. We’ve even shown you how to quickly and easily make a wide range of wallpapers yourself. Why spend so much time on something that’s seemingly so simple? There is no better way to change the look and feel of your phone than by switching up your wallpaper, and too many people use low-quality images they find around the web.
It’s been a while since our last post that focused on new wallpapers for your Android phone or iPhone, but we recently came across a fresh batch that’s just too good not to share.

In a recent post on Reddit, user “Honsou” shared a brand new wallpaper collection that he has assembled. It took him several months to put the collection together, and the images contained within were collected from various sources including Flickr, the European Southern Observatory website and the Hubble Space Telescope website.
There are 144 images in total in this new collection and they’ve been divided into seven different categories: AMOLED (mostly black), Astronomy, Astro Landscapes, Landscapes, Nature, Space Exploration and Urban. Each category is available to be previewed in low-resolution on Imgur (click any of the links on the category names), and then a high-res zip file can be downloaded from Mediafire.
