Hulu typically offers users a one-week free trial to test its premium TV and movie streaming service before they have to start coughing up $7.99 each month. Without a premium subscription, only a very limited number of episodes are available for each show. For two days only, however, new subscribers can score a special extended free trial that offers access to the entire Hulu library for a full two months.

Hulu’s premium streaming service, formerly called Hulu Plus, grants users legal access to thousands of TV shows and movies that can be streamed on demand to any computer, TV or mobile device. $8 a month is certainly a fair price for the service, but why start paying sooner than you have to?

For two days only this weekend, anyone with a Roku set-top box can extend their free Hulu trial period from one week to two months. The offer begins at 12:01 a.m PST on Saturday, June 27th, and it ends at 11:59 p.m. PST on Sunday, June 28th.

All you need to do to start the free two-month trial is open the Hulu app on your Roku box and sign up between the times noted above. You will have to enter a valid credit card to start the free trial, but you won’t be charged if you cancel by the end of your trial period.

Hulu recently announced that it has added every episode of Seinfeld to its growing content library, and it will soon offer Showtime for an additional $9 per month. Of note, Hulu will also offer a free 30-day trial of Showtime once the channel becomes available in July.
