It has now been nearly two months since the Pokemon Go craze first swept the world. While the app’s rankings in the iOS App Store have slipped a bit over the past couple of weeks — it now sits at No. 10 on the free app charts — Pokemon Go remains the No. 1 top-grossing iOS app. You also still can’t walk more than 20 feet in cities large and small around the world without seeing at least a few people scampering around and trying to catch a Pokemon.

While most users generally play the game clean, an increasing number of Pokemon addicts take advantage of all the different Pokemon Go cheats and hacks out there. Don’t worry, we won’t judge you because after all, it’s just a smartphone game. Well, if you don’t mind bending the rules you’re in for a serious treat on Monday morning, because the ultimate Pokemon Go cheat that used to require players to jailbreak their iPhones is now available with no jailbreak required.

MUST SEE: I built a Wi-Fi paradise and all I needed was one device

Back in late July was the first time we told you about the ultimate Pokemon Go cheat. There are plenty of cheats and hacks out there, but this one takes the cake by letting players walk anywhere in the game without physically moving an inch, and without triggering the developer’s anti-cheating alarms and getting themselves banned in the process.

For those of you who are still somehow unaware of how Pokemon Go works, it’s an augmented reality game that requires you to travel around with their smartphones, following a digital map that mirrors the real world around you. When you arrive at a real-world location that’s home to a virtual Pokemon, you can catch the Pokemon and add it to your collection.

The real-world integration is key, of course, and that’s part of what keeps players so interested in the game. You can’t just sit on a couch and work your way through Pokemon Go in a day. Instead, you have to travel all over your town and the surrounding area, capturing Pokemon and performing other tasks in the process.

Or at least, that used to be the case.

As we mentioned above, a hack was introduced late last month that lets players walk around the map on an iPhone without actually having to move anywhere. The cheat got even better a couple of weeks ago, but it still required users to jailbreak their iPhones in order to install the hack. All that changed this past weekend though, and this incredible Pokemon Go cheat is now available on iPhones that are not jailbroken.

This newly updated Pokemon Go hack is quite simple to install and use, but YouTube channel iCrackUriDevice put together a great video that explains the entire process. In a nutshell, you simply need to uninstall Pokemon Go, download three files from a special Pokemon Go hacks website, install the files on your iPhone from your computer, adjust one setting and you’re good to go.

There is a caveat that’s explained in the video. Long story short, you’ll have to self-sign and then trust the app the get it to function on your iPhone, but that self-signed certificate will only work on your phone for seven days. You can keep using this Pokemon Go cheat forever, but you’ll have to repeat this process every seven days to do so. As you’ll see in the video though, it’s really not complicated and only takes a couple of minutes once you have the files you need.

The full video explaining this Pokemon Go cheat and how to install it without jailbreaking your iPhone is embedded below.
