We’ll be reporting live from tomorrow’s Amazon Kindle tablet event

Events

We’re less than 24 hours away from the unveiling of what many believe to be the iPad’s first real competition: a low-cost Amazon tablet with a customized version of Google’s Android OS that includes with deep integration with a variety of Amazon services. Kindle eBooks, streaming movies and TV shows, Amazon’s MP3 music store, videos on demand, streaming music via Cloud Player, Amazon Prime perks and more are expected from the 7-inch slate, which will reportedly be called the “Amazon Kindle Fire.” BGR reported exclusive details surrounding Amazon’s first tablet back in May — alongside early details surrounding Amazon’s upcoming second tablet, the quad-core 10-inch “Hollywood” slate — and we can’t wait to see the Kindle Fire finally get official on Wednesday morning.

Bookmark this link, which will go live tomorrow morning, and make sure to head there for our live coverage of Amazon’s Kindle Fire tablet unveiling! Coverage starts at or around 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time.

I care. If its a good tablet at a good price, then I care. And before you go off on one I think Apple makes great stuff, but that doesn’t stop me having an open mind about other suppliers offerings.

Hopefully it will turn out to be something Good and not a Dud.

Awwww poor RImjobbing Moron Playbook. Looks like you got stuffed in a corner and shat upon. The only jagoffs owning a Playbook after tomorrow will be the cornholed Rimjobbers.

I fail to see how a low-cost Android tablet is a competitor of the iPad, which, even though I’m an Apple hater, is a high-end device.

a 7″ nook color clone with other media added  at that.  i dont see any 7″ device being a competitor to ipad.  10″ is what most consumers are looking for imo

did Amazon claim it was? Perhaps I missed that?

        Is a Fiat 500 a competitor to a BMW 7 series? No.
Do both companies have successful product on their hands? Yes

Can’t wait to see the specs on this one.  I might be getting one if it has everything I want in a 7 inch tablet and if the price is right.
