Verizon’s first iPhone ad: ‘It Begins’

mobile

Been waiting almost four years for the iPhone to come to Verizon Wireless’ network? Verizon knows that, and they’re wasting no time producing and airing the first Verizon iPhone commercial that plays up the general hysteria of the Big Red and Apple partnership. Our question to you would be, dear readers, iPhone 4 or HTC ThunderBolt?

Without Flash, 3G is more than adequate. Verizon’s network delivers as strong of 3G signal in the Seattle area as AT&T’s (I’ve seen the reports of 5+Mbps in NJ and such, but here it’s usually more around 1-2Mbps) and it has far better coverage saturation than anyone else’s.

The question I have is, How effective is this ad? It doesn’t make me want one any more than the AT&T ads. It doesn’t inspire me at all. Other than that, good job.

I would go With the thunderbolt or wait for the Motorola. Because audiovox or HTC whatever they choose to call themselves make horrible quality phone. Pushed out to quick with cheap components. While apple technology will be old the day it drops. & remember the upgrade thing has changed.

The Best thing to come out of this whole thing is… we finally get to find out if it was Apple or AT&T that was the problem.. my money is on AT&T. I like the phone a lot but love my Droid X better and want the HTC or the Moto , either way good luck to all those new Iphone Verizon users, I am sure you will be happy with your phone ( most folks are simple mined do not want to be bothered with too much choice, do not like to customize there stuff, do not care about Widgets) Fact is those same folks would not customize an Android if theyhad one.

i dont see the big deal with the iphones all the smartphones are so similar these days. Smartphones are great but to me it comes down to price per month, not into having my phone-data plan almost be a car payment.

Why would I want a 3g ccdma device vs a 4g LTE Device? Thunderbolt all the way the 32Gb sd card pre installed alone screams to hell with the iphone!

thunderbolt hands down, 4g, massive screen, 4g mobile hotspot … now had you asked about the Moto 4g handset, that might be a different story.

Maybe if the T-bolt had the Tegra 2 in it, but it doesn’t and therefore I’ll be picking the Bionic over both the T-bolt and iPhone. The iPhone is just so … “plain”. Nothing but an icon launcher for a home screen and still doesn’t do flash.
