Dell will pay you to take an HTC DROID Incredible

mobile

Looking for more excuses to avoid battling the Black Friday crowd? How’s this for a deal: the Dell Mobility Store will pay you $25 to take an HTC DROID Incredible — seriously. Dell is currently offering Verizon Wireless’ HTC DROID Incredible for free with a 2-year activation. Shipping is also free, and Verizon’s activation fee is waived. On top of all that, you’ll get a complimentary $25 Dell gift card with your order. We’re not sure there’s a better deal to be found right now. Of course the DROID Incredible is a little long in the tooth these days, and we’re not sure its specs will be overly competitive in 2 months let alone 2 years. But for the smartphone lightweight in your life who just needs a decent device, Dell’s deal is as good as it gets.

Wow, an OUTSTANDING deal by VZW and DROID and Dell. Absolutely a steal. The DROID Incredible is perhaps the greatest phone of June/early July. It was really unbeatable until the DROID X and DROID 2/DROID 2 World Edition R2D2 edition. I particularlly like the great battery life you get with the DROID Incredible. On a month of heavy usage I get by on one charge easily. Truly an INCREDIBLE DROID.

It’s so good they have to pay you to take it! :)

    • Goofan (aka Apple Hater)

You forgot the fact you can hold it every which way you can at depths NO HUMAN can actually travel and still have all the bars of signal. In addition, you can run upwards of 100 applications CONCURRENTLY and still get one month of battery!

    • Goofan (aka Apple Hater)

OH, and imagine how pissed Apple is with all these phones being given away (or in this case PAID to buy!) and how it will affect market share. I am sure they will say, hey people BUY our phones, we don’t have to give them away!!! But you know what, they still have an inferior product to these HUNDREDS of different Android models to chose from. Us Goofans (aka Apple Haters) wanted choice and darn it we have it. Lots of choice. A little confusing, but lots of choice!

A few years back a woman calls my house. She asks if I will participate in a survey and I agree. The survey last for three minutes and then at the end asks me where I would like my free Dell computer and Monitor sent. I said, “Actually you can keep that.” She was very confused and couldn’t understand why I wouldn’t want a free computer. She said, “You could give it to someone who needs a computer.” I said, “No one needs anything offered by Dell.”

    True story

If there is anything worse than a Dell product it would be a Dell gift card.

My DInc still does everything I need it to, and I’ve been getting regular updates from HTC/Verizon on the OS (albeit some of those updates are bloatware rather than needed features). Not long in the tooth in my book.

  • Tim

Makes sense. You would need to pay me for a crapp phone too

  • Cligon

I don’t get it? Why is Dell selling a phone that is made by HTC and runs on verizon???

  • specialk

I got the Incredible the day it was released and would still get it today. It has everything the other, newer smart phones have and is not a giant tablet in my pocket. It’s only downfall is it’s battery life, easily remedied with a new extended battery.

WTF? Smart phone lightweight? Long in the tooth? Really? New phones are still coming out that are slower have lower scores and that have less features. Calling the incredible a lightweight is the dumbest thing i’ve read all week. Btw, look at this guys reviews, they are extremely biased. This guy stinks of his lust for a bald guy who wears black turtlenecks.

The Incredible might be “long in the tooth”, but it’s specs are still at or near the top in every category.

  • This is Fraud

I am selling this excellent t-shirt for free. And, you get a voucher for a free coke! You just have to sign up for a two year gym membership at 59.99/month to get it. I am totally paying you to take the t-shirt!
Wake up to yourself BGR. People come to the site for objectivity, not advertising fraud.

The MINIMUM you pay here is $960. For that, you get 15 minutes a day of talk time! Wowwww! Or, you can pay $1440 and you a much better deal: 30 minutes per day. OMG! Or pay even more for ‘unlimited.’ I can’t wait to see how they define ‘unlimited.’

I hate this dishonesty. The phone is not free. You are not being paid to take it. Someone should lock these people up.

Yep, phone price is nothing next to the insane data prices, which is why I always buy the top of the line phone. If you’re gonna be a slave to data, you have to go all out.

    • HTC INCREDIBLE

Youre an idiot. For any “free phone” you have to buy a plan. If youre going to go the Verizon route then expect to pay more than ATT, Sprint, Tmobile and all the other Carriers out in the world. You pay for what you get. Also, for Verizon selling the phone for 150 for the same 2 year contract I would think that this is the better deal. Hell I wish I was aloud to get the phone for free instead of the 200 I laid down. But it was quite worth it.

That argument makes no sense. You will still have to pay for data and voice minutes anyway, whether you agree to a 2-year contract or no commitment. You would spend that $960 regardless. It would cost around $500 or more to buy the phone with out a contract. In the end, you save $500.

Better Deal at 4G Wireless Verizon Wireless Premium Retailer…http://4gwireless.com/
They have ALL Phones for FREE for Black Friday and they are giving an additional $100 Gift Card… Plus they are giving the Samsung Galaxy Tab for $399…. Thank God for inside sources…. I heard the Fullerton, CA store off of State College and Chapman Ave next to Starbucks, Ziba Beauty, Pick Up Stix, Chipotle, and Game Crazy is the BEST Service Store…. I’ve heard a lot of good things… and that place has the best deals available for any Verizon Phones.
