AT&T experiencing data outages nationwide

Small ATT LogoWe’ve been getting tons of email from AT&T customers all over the States — Louisiana, Alabama, New York, Connecticut, California, Massachusetts, etc. — all experiencing data outages. We gave the folks over at AT&T a call and were told that their is indeed a nationwide 2G data outage that is “being worked on.” How about it AT&T folks? Does your cellular device worky on 2G? Oh yeah…those of you on other networks, try not to gloat too much.

    Same thing here in Florida. Text messages take five minutes, wont go through, or send the same message 6 times. Calls take a min to connect and then they can cant hear me. Glad my contract is up at this point, even happier that I didnt extend and get the iPhone 4.

    there appears to be an in issue with att 3g service , here in Michigan as well. the phone is slipping back and forth with 1 or no bar of signal strength.. Anyone else who have noticed this issue

    Both my and my wife’s ATT phones are paperweights right now – no calls, no data, no MMS… nothing.

    Im gonna call and get $1 credited to my bill…. its been down most of the day…. att network sucks….

    I Have AT&T and im in NC. I Noticed this morning that my phone had no service, by no service i dont mean 1-2 bars i mean “NO SERVICE”. I agree with the $1 credited to our accounts haha. More like $1 every hour without service. Ive heard rumors that they were working on the Towers installing 3G here.

    1 bar…3 bars…no bars. We used to get excellent signal inside of our house and out. Now we get dropped calls, no signal, network errors and time lags with messages. Is AT&T lowering signal strength to get people to buy those little boxes to help “boost” your signal inside your home? Been with them for years but this is not good marketing strategy. Will be looking into other plans soon as I refuse to pay more for what I am allready supposed to be paying for.

    I need a dentist due to extreme gnashing/grinding of teeth. ATT out, AGAIN, no phone no wireless no bars. Hours spent with tech service who report, ‘it appears to be a nationwide problem.’
