There’s an addictive new YouTube channel dedicated solely to melting stuff

Best YouTube Channels Let's Melt This

Not a day goes by when I don’t praise the heavens for YouTube. Why? Because without YouTube, countless oddballs who have strange fetishes for crushing things with hydraulic presses and pouring molten copper onto food would never be able to share their passions with the world. I recently discovered yet another addictive YouTube channel that’s simply called “LET’S MELT THIS” and its sole purpose is to, you guess it, show videos of stuff melting.

FROM EARLIER: Deleted ‘Batman v Superman’ scene could’ve made the movie’s ending much better

“This channel was created so that we could share the videos of all the things we melt,” the channel’s creators explain. “If it can melt, we will melt it and post the video to this channel for your viewing pleasure!”

And we aren’t just talking about an ice cube getting melted by direct heat or anything so boring. No, we’re talking about taking sponges and dissolving them in pools of sulfuric acid:

Or melting an iPad inside a foundry:

Or melting a Styrofoam cup in acetone:

Or taking a welding torch to a golf ball:

Or seeing how well a chocolate Easter bunny holds up against molten aluminum (SPOILER: Shockingly well!):

At any rate, you get the idea. If you like seeing stuff melt down and you don’t want to try melting it yourself at home, you should definitely subscribe to this channel.
