Now that Star Wars: The Force Awakens is less than two weeks away from debuting on the silver screen, it’s hardly a surprise that we’re being steadily bombarded by Star Wars themed news, videos, music, advertising, and comedy from every angle imaginable.

One of the more notable examples comes from none other than Google itself. Not too long ago, the search giant incorporated a clever Star Wars themed Easter Egg into its website that’s definitely worth checking out.

To access it, simply type in the phrase “a long time ago in a galaxy far far away” into the Google search bar and you’ll immediately be presented with scrolling search results designed to mimic the movie’s classic opening crawl. Even better, if you click on the speaker icon located towards the upper right of the page, you can peruse through Google’s scrolling search results with the movie’s iconic music playing in the background.

It’s worth pointing out that Google’s support for Star Wars runs even deeper than this quirky Easter Egg, as evidenced by Google’s “Awaken the Force Within” page which lets users add various Star Wars customizations to their desktop and Google’s suite of mobile apps.

Clearly, it’s a safe bet that we’ve only hit the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Star Wars related hysteria. Speaking of which, some of the more interesting items we stumbled across during the last week alone include an impressive musical mashup featuring the Notorious B.I.G’s rapping over music from Star Wars composer John Williams and Mark Hamill walking around Hollywood Boulevard dressed as a Stormtrooper.
