When you went to see Batman v Superman or Captain America: Civil War this summer, you probably left the theater wishing that you could fly, that you had super strength, or that you could manipulate the world with your mind. But even though some superpowers might seem appealing, you probably wouldn’t actually want to have to deal with them on a regular basis.

In a new video, Screen Rant explores ten superpowers that would suck to have in real life, starting with Superman’s super hearing ability. Although this might sound neat on paper, it would be all but unbearable if you couldn’t properly control it. New York City is loud enough as it is — super hearing would probably kill me.

Another potentially terrifying superpower: Nightcrawler’s teleportation. Yes, jumping anywhere in an instant sounds like the most convenient superpower ever created, but if you happened to teleport into a wall or the floor or any solid object—even something as small as a bug—your body would suddenly be one with it. Incredibly easy to kill yourself with this one if you’re not careful.
