The Nintendo Switch eShop expanded once again on Thursday as four new games arrive for the two-week-old console. These four games join the nine launch games and the eight games added last week to bring the total number of games on the US Switch eShop over 20. That said, many are just new to Switch.
The highlight of the week is The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ ($39.99), an enhanced version of the popular dungeon-crawler with 13 playable characters, over 600 items to collect, more than 180 enemies to battle with and over 11,000 unique room configurations to explore. This is the definitive version of the game.
In addition to hitting the eShop, The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ is also available at retail stores. Every “launch edition” box of The Binding of Isaac contains a physical copy of the game as well as two free sticker sheets, an Isaac sticker and reversible cover art. It also has a 20-page, full color instruction booklet with information about the game, tips for playing and never-before-seen artwork.
The three other games on the eShop this week are all from developer Tomorrow Corporation: Human Resource Machine ($9.99), Little Inferno ($9.99) and World of Goo ($9.99). These three games have been available for other consoles in the past, but World of Goo and Little Inferno have new cooperative local multiplayer modes. Good news for those looking to play more games with friends and family.
