Mercedes 2010 E-Class: technology evolved
Recently I visited Mercedes-Benz’s headquarters in Montvale, NJ to see their all-new 2010 E-Class vehicles. You might be thinking we’re pulling an Autoblog, but we’re …
Jonathan S. Geller founded Boy Genius Report, now known as BGR, in 2006. It became the biggest mobile news destination in the world by the end of 2009, and BGR was acquired by leading digital media company PMC in April 2010.
Jonathan is President of BGR Media, LLC., and Editor-in-chief of the BGR website.
What started as a side project at the age of 16, quickly transpired into 24-hour days and nights of sharing exclusive and breaking news about the mobile communications industry. BGR now reaches up to 100 million readers a month through the website, syndication partners, and additional channels.

We’ve just rolled out a brand new redesign of BGR! There are so many amazing things we’re proud of and it just felt time that we freshened up the site. We’ve dramatically improved comments and we’ve streamlined how posts are displayed.

Who wants to buy a $2,000 netbook? Well, if you’d like to walk away with one for $299.99 and a $60/mo AT&T data plan for 2 years, you can. Otherwise the smarter move would be to purchase it at retail price of around $599.99 and get a data plan from AT&T without a two-year commitment. But regardless of the method of purchase, if you want a Nokia Booklet, Best Buy has got ’em. Will they sell you one before November 15th? Probably not, but it wouldn’t hurt to try. One more shot after the break.
We have our very own Motorola Droid handset here at BGR, and although the software isn’t final, it’s solid enough where we feel comfortable giving you a nice preview of the unit.
Uh… so much for an announcement event? Or Motorola just doesn’t know what the hell is going on (most likely the reason), because the Motorola Droid makes an official appearance on Moto’s U.S. site. It just might be that we were sent this direct link which isn’t meant to be public, but… you know how that’s going to work out. In any case, the Motorola Droid, which we have torn limb from limb (check for our preview tomorrow) is indeed a bad ass mama jama, but if you don’t want to wait for our preview, hit the jump for some screenshots!
Ready for more Motorola Droid nonsense? Good. We’ve just got a couple images of a promotional mailer that went out to one of our connects. …
Our connect has been testing it over the past month and said the OS builds running on it are incredibly smooth as well as responsive. It’s certainly no Droid, but hey, it doesn’t have to be. No hard release date but we might be looking at a Q4 release… Hit the jump for some more pics!
