The beefed up Chinese Galaxy S8 version will be significantly more expensive than the US version. According to ETNews, a Galaxy S8 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will cost you more than $1,000. Buyers looking to preorder a 6GB Galaxy S8+ model in China will be treated to a free Samsung DeX dock, whose retail price is $150.
If you were planning to somehow purchase the Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ from China, you’d have to adjust your budget accordingly. It’s unclear at this time whether this special Galaxy S8 version will launch in other markets in the future.
In the US, the cheapest Galaxy S8 that you can buy right now costs up to $720 to $750, but Best Buy has a great deal that will help you save $50 on top of all the other promotions.
