In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past few months, you probably heard that Sony Pictures Entertainment is releasing an all-female Ghostbusters sequel/reboot later this summer. You might have also heard that the internet hasn’t been reacting all that well to the news of the movie’s existence.

Having just eclipsed 800,000 dislikes on YouTube, the response to the first trailer could conservatively be called an unmitigated disaster. Admittedly, the trailer didn’t really do the movie any favors (as Ghostbusters star Melissa McCarthy admits), but this is clearly more than just a bunch of riled up, classic ’80s movies fans.
Nevertheless, Sony has decided to press onwards and release a second trailer, which hit Twitter on Wednesday morning. Having not loved the first trailer myself, I think this one might do a better job of showing us exactly what the movie is about while giving the characters a chance to show of their sense of humor:

On the other hand, this trailer will almost certainly receive hundreds of thousands of dislikes in the coming weeks. At least it will never be disliked as much as the trailer for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare!
Ghostbusters releases in theaters on July 15th, 2016.
