One of the great things about top Android smartphones is that the older they get, the more affordable they become, since newer models come along and retailers start cutting the price of the older handsets. So if you’re not really interested in buying one of the latest Android flagships available in stores right now, you can always look for a better deal a top-shelf model that’s a year old or even just a few months old.
DON’T MISS: The iPhone 6s won’t fix the biggest problem with the iPhone 6 (and no one really cares)
Three solid Android phones are now available for lower prices than ever before: the HTC One M8, Google Nexus 6 and YotaPhone 2.
The HTC One M8, one of last year’s top Android handsets, is still a great device capable of handling anything you can throw at it. The 32GB version currently costs just $299.99 from Best Buy, and that’s the full off-contract price of the handset, which makes it an amazing deal for anyone shopping for smartphones on a tight budget – hit this link for more details about the special offer.
If you’d like to purchase something newer and thus pricier, you could always go for the 32GB Google Nexus 6 that T-Mobile is currently selling for $100 less than what it costs on the Play Store. At $550 (off-contract price), the Nexus 6 is still expensive, but you’re purchasing Google’s latest Nexus handset that’ll soon be able to run Android M. In fact, the 64GB Nexus 6 is priced at $600 on T-Mobile, which is still cheaper than elsewhere – check the offer at this link.
Finally, the last phone of the three is the YotaPhone 2 (top image). In case you’re not familiar with the device, the YotaPhone’s defining feature is the second e-ink display on its back. Unlike the previous-generation handset, the second-gen model is truly a hot smartphone you should consider, at least when looking at hardware.
The phone won’t launch in the U.S. until this summer, but the company has already updated it to Lollipop, added more software features for that screen, and made it available in a white version in Europe. Most importantly, the price of the device dropped by €100, and it now costs €599, as Engadget reports.
