It looks like Apple’s (AAPL) supply chain may finally be catch up with demand. 9to5Mac reports that iPhone 5 orders placed on Apple’s website will now ship within two to three weeks, down from the three-to-four-week wait that customers previously had to endure. iPhone manufacturer Foxconn said last month that the iPhone 5 was the hardest device it’s ever had to make because it “uses a new coating material that makes it more susceptible to scratching” and thus makes it harder to pass through quality control checks.
