Showtime announced on Wednesday that it will be launching its own standalone Internet TV subscription service in July for $10.99 a month. The service, simply called Showtime, will give subscribers access to its back catalog of movies and original shows as well as live streams of its networks.

Taking a page from HBO, Showtime will also offer a 30-day free trial for customers who sign up through Apple. HBO Now has been a huge success for the network since appearing on Apple’s various devices, and Showtime is clearly attempting to tap into the same market with the iron is hot.

“Going over-the-top means Showtime will be much more accessible to tens of millions of potential new subscribers,” Les Moonves, the CBS Corporation CEO, said in a statement.

The company plans to announce more partners soon.
