At CES 2015, I saw the future. And the future looks absolutely amazing. Everything in our homes, offices, schools, cars and elsewhere will have the potential to be connected to the Internet, and that network of devices — the “Internet of Things” — will change our lives. The functionality offered by these devices will be automated, and devices will communicate so that performance is improved over time.

We’re still a few years away from realizing this future, of course, but the building blocks were all there in Las Vegas last week, along with plenty of fantastic new devices that push other consumer electronics categories forward.
