Netflix on Wednesday confirmed it will expand into more international markets this year, revealing plans to launch its video streaming service in various European markets. The European markets getting Netflix this year include Germany and France, which were mentioned in previous Netflix expansion rumors, but also other countries such as Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland. Interested customers in these countries can already go to Netflix.com to sign up for more information about the service’s launch.

The popular streaming service is already available in several countries in the region, including U.K., Ireland, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden and the Netherlands. The company says it has over 48 million customers in more than 40 countries.
